“The T-ara incident made me detest even more Korean’s society that cannot tell right from wrong”
Reporter: Recently, you’ve supported Eunjung through twitter and this became a hot topic. You didn’t expect that right? What are your thoughts about the T-ara incident?
In response to the question that the reporter asked mindfully, Director Cha Euntaek surprisingly gave a calm and sharp response. Because of his message of support to Eunjung, Director Cha was also criticised by some netizens. Director Cha was the director for T-ara’s MV’s like Lovey Dovey, and so have known Eunjung for a long time. He understands Eunjung more than anybody else and truly feels sad and worried for Eunjung.
“Although my message wasn’t left simply without thought nor was it left simply just to cheer her on, it still represented my worry and care for her. When she knew that she was casted for Five Fingers , you wouldn’t know how happy she was and how hard she worked in preparation. If I was a member of T-ara, I might have hidden away somewhere because of the hurt and pain. T-ara being ostracised by the public, this has made me really detest Korean society. I really detest those who, after someone’s mistake, add insult to injury without first determining right from wrong. To be honest, I thought “Should I gamble my career in the entertainment industry and just say it all [and argue]? Just say it all on twitter?” I was really angry at the time.”
“I’ve watched them grow since the T-ara members were still trainees. They are kids that have worked hard to become singers, and I was really hurt to see them criticised like that. Eunjung’s message on twitter was actually really simple and pure. They cannot go out and play like other teenagers, but have to practise with all their might, running around to complete their activities. They cannot live like other kids of the same age, but are constrained by their work. They are kids who are more simple and pure than others of their age.”
“At the time, I was really very upset. To see how the public, without understanding the circumstances, became so sure that there must have been bullying between them. I don’t understand, there have been incidents in the past that were much worse, idols who have done illegal things, but why only treat T-ara with such harshness?”
About how his message of support for Eunjung caused a stir amongst netizens, Director Cha said: “Although we should criticise acts that are wrong, but to see people carelessly criticise and condemn acts that are right simply because of their own subjectivity and bias, I really could not carrying on living pretending that I did not see this in our society.”
“Eunjung ah, you have to live with strength”
“I always talk with Eunjung, and she told me ‘Because of Director-nim, I’ve gained a lot of strength.” She cannot clarify everything about what has happened, simply because they are all very close, in reality, their relationship is not like what outsiders have said, and they do not want each other to be criticised or blamed because of themselves. Because of this incident, they really cried a lot. I really can’t bear to see them cry like that. I tried to find ways to comfort them, but I couldn’t come up with any good ways but to say to them to live with strength. After Eunjung was forced out of Five Fingers I had once worried that she would do something stupid.”

Sorry to say this but people who left hateful and insulting comments on Youtube, Twitter and Facebook also a part of cyberbullying!
When there is no solid proof about T-ara bullying Hwayoung but only a rumor from screencaps and tweets that have been twisted by netizens…
what netizens and public do to T-ara right now obviously a cyberbullying!
Need a proofs? Just go to T-ara video on Youtube or search T-ara on Twitter, then you can see a lot of hateful and insulting comments on T-ara. If that still not enough, go to T-Jinyo site and see by yourself how T-Jinyo members twist a facts, create & spread a rumors about T-ara. That’s a common forms of cyberbullying!
Cyberbullying may not cause any physical injury to the victim but it will affect them psychologically and emotionally as they struggle with anger, frustration, and sadness. Some of the victim even commits a suicide!
So, before calling someone as bully or criminal, better you look and judge yourself first…
Girl group T-ara will release their seventh mini album “MIRAGE” on September 3rd.
Their agency Core Contents Media said today, “T-ara’s new title song was composed by Shinsadong Tiger and written by Choi Kyusung who are the same people who made T-ara’s ‘Bo Peep Bo Peep’ and ‘Roly-Poly’.”

With the ‘T-ARA Crisis’ still going on, T-ARA members released an official handwritten apology letter understanding their foolish behavior and that they are in deep reflection on their actions. This letter was released today, which is one day after Hwayoung had written on her twitter about this crisis.
T-ARA posted this official apology letter on their official homepage with a post that started with, “We are writing this letter after much thought…” along with a picture of their apology letter.
T-ARA wrote, “This past month felt even longer than the time it took for us to train and debut and receive love from our fans. First, we truly apologize to everyone we disappointed. We admit that it was a very foolish thing to bring out our personal disagreements between members into the public. We are deeply reflecting upon our actions.”
They continued, “We truly apologize for our rash behaviors. If we were a bit more mature about the situation and tried to understand each other more, this situation might not have happened. The thought of this puts us through so much pain. We are truly sad that through these minor disagreements we have forgotten that all of us have worked hard together towards the same goal. With this incident, it seems that our good memories have been buried by our quick judgments.”
T-ARA members also left a message for Hwayoung, “Hwayoung must have gone through so much pain throughout this whole crisis. We are so sad that because of this incident that we can no longer be together. We hope that there will be no more incidents where Hwayoung gets hurt.”
Lastly, T-ARA apologized to the public and their fans once again, “We are again truly sorry for letting our fans down. This incident has been a huge life lesson to us. We have now realized that we are responsible for our actions and that it could reflect a bad image to our younger fans as well.”
“We truly ask for forgiveness from our parents, our loving fans and to everyone that we have disappointed. We will work hard in order for everyone to forgive us. We are truly sorry. We also hope that everyone will support and love Hwayoung as well. We will always be rooting for Hwayoung.”
Yesterday, Hwayoung wrote on her twitter for the first time in a month saying, “I am sad to hear about Eunjung’s removal from her drama. Although our group has had some disagreements, I am sad to see that people have made it worse by making bullying rumors. Our group has been together since the beginning and has many good memories together. I hope that we can all now see each other with smiling faces and I hope that everyone will continue to support T-ARA. We are truly sorry for everyone that we have disappointed.”
Hwa Young is seemingly offering out an olive branch in hopes to help the controversy and fallout surrounding T-ara subside.
Hwa Young tweeted for the first time in a month on August 28 and shed a little more light on the T-ara incident.
In it she wrote, “After reading the news on Eun Jung unnie’s departure from her drama, my heart has not been at ease. Though there was a conflict stemming from a difference in opinions among the T-ara members, my heart is pained to see accusations of ostracizing swirling and the situation seemingly worsen. I have also been hurt and distressed to see the truth about each other being distorted.”
She added, “However, as there were also many happy days we shared together being under the same label, I want to forget all the past things and now encourage and support each other with a smiling face once more. Many of you have loved T-ara, cherished it and come to it and I am sorry this incident has caused so much concern and anxiety to everyone.”

The whole T-ara isolation event still persists and it recently evolved into the public isolating T-ara. This is the public being extremely offensive collectively, thus it can be called collective madness.
This collective crazy situation already started as early as the start of the whole T-ara isolation incident in which about 300000 members joined Tijinyo and there was no end after which.
The whole situation re-ignited again recently with the explusion of member Ham Eunjung from her drama. People saying “She deserves it”, and other dramas which have the other members acting in it are also cursed and criticized, as though they wanted to bury the girls.
The reason of all this craziness from the public was due to their assumption that there was isolation within the group, but the problem is there isnt any proof.
First of all, the T-ara members’s tweet become a problem. But this is the basis of dissatisfaction among members, and it absolutely can not be used as the basis of ‘isolation’. When a majority is not having a good relation with the minority or a few or not on good relation with one person, this is not isolation, life is never so simple.
Second is the various screenshots proposed as evidence, which is an outrageous excuse. They are just novels that are potraying the artistes’ image based on the screenshots they edited themselves. It can’t be used as ‘evidences’.
So even without any basis in the fact, people believed T-ara isolated, abandoned. This is a fanatical superstition! Not only the general public, many of the media and critics, civic groups also joined in the craze, exclaiming ‘Isolation is bad’ .
There are many situations in the past whereby there are little evidence but the general public just goes ahead and attack collectively, like what happened to MC Mong and Ock Ju Hyun. Now T-ara unluckily got a tail caught and they are just drowned even before they got to explain anything.
Be it T-ara or any others, the public are just looking for someone to vent their frustration on.And when this target appears, they just lose their senses and endulge in this craziness.
Using other peoples’ tears to clear the frustration within one, From this point of view, this is like the isolation cases in school , so there’s ths situation of “Isolation of T-ara”.
There were no isolation in the group or at least there are no evidence to really proof this. You want to destroy a person without any proof? This is a form of crazy violence!
The bad relation within the group seems true, but that could happen on any group. What they did wrong was to post what they felt on twitter and allowed others to have an excuse to attack.
Recently, the public are not waiting for evidence, addicted to the “seize and kill” situation. The public which likes to attack colletively, likes to find scapegoats, have no patience really needs to calm down.
